I went to New York during the summer of 2008. It was a dream come true. My friend Tara and I flew down and spent 10 luxurious days doing whatever pleased us. She went to 3 – 5 Broadway shows a day, and I wandered around Manhatten pretending I was a local.
The highlights of this trip included walking around Times Square, seeing the city from the top of the Empire State Building, seeing Avenue Q on Broadway, getting in trouble at the Metropolitan Museum, standing next to Dum Dum at the American Museum of Natural History, the cruise we took around Manhattan, being in the audience for a tv show, and getting completely lost in Central Park.
